GOODMAN SYMPOSIUM
Picture
A big THANK YOU to all who attended and supported FOHH's 1st Goodman Symposium in 2024.
The FOHH and many Goodman-designed communities in the DMV celebrated Charles Goodman from September 13-15, 2024, during the 1st LIVING MODERN-BUILDING COMMUNITY symposium.

Experts and enthusiasts focused on the legacy of Charles Goodman, visionary architect and community builder gathered for a weekend of lectures, discussions, networking and socializing during this weekend event.

Topics ranged from Goodman’s legacy to modern architecture and community planning to the challenges of maintaining a Goodman home to stories about living in Goodman houses and communities.

Participants toured two historic Goodman designs—a the Unitarian Universalist Church of  Arlington and Severeid House, a custom-designed hillside house in Alexandria.

FOHH thanks the wonderful speakers and panelists, supporters and sponsors, and all those who attended to show support for Charles Goodman and his work.

Audio and video symposium sessions now available online here.
