Janet Lewis, the owner, and caretaker of the Sevareid House, had a 30+ career in media. Janet was inspired to preserve the home by its history, both architecturally and especially its former owner - the storied broadcast newscaster Eric Sevareid. She has turned her home into venue for monthly house concerts featuring touring and local musicians. Concerts at the Sevareid House was featured in The Washingtonian Magazine's Hidden Gems of Washington issue in January 2024.
