TURKEY TROT
Every Thanksgiving morning, the Hollin Hills community comes together for a cherished tradition — the Hollin Hills Turkey Trot. This family-friendly fun run brings neighbors, friends, and visitors together to celebrate health, community spirit, and holiday cheer before the big feast. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for a stroll, the Turkey Trot is all about camaraderie, fresh air, and starting the holiday with a smile.

Suggested Donation: $10/person
The Kids Fun Run starts at 9 AM and the 5K Turkey Trot at 9:30 AM.
A suggested donation of $10/person will help contribute to the improvements of the Hollin Hills parks.
PRIZES for first and last finishers for Women and Men 5 K run, older kids fun run and for strollers and littles.

Put the turkey or tofurkey in the oven, put on your running or walking shoes, and join the FOHH for the 6th annual Hollin Hills Turkey Trot in Voigt Park at the corner of Paul Spring and Rippon Roads. Run through the parks and hills of Hollin Hills. The route goes through the HH walking paths as well as streets. (Streets will closed to cars, so please be safe and run, walk, or trot against oncoming traffic - please enjoy and be aware. Why Should My Family Attend? Why not? Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and for best costume! A $10 donation to the FOHH, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit, is suggested. What Should I Bring? Bring your own water bottle and mug to avoid single use trash, and enjoy free coffee, cider and donuts. Are Friends Outside of Hollin Hills Invited? Yes! Hope to see you there! |
