Step Into Fall—and Across a New Bridge This fall, discover something new in the parks you already love. Set in motion by parks chair Dan Shulke and Funded by a Friends of Hollin Hills grant, 3 new pedestrian bridges now span the creeks at Voigt and Brickelmaier Parks. Designed by Robert Fina and built with the help of the Parks Committee, these bridges make our parks safer, more connected, and more enjoyable year-round. Celebrate What Makes Hollin Hills Unique Historic Home Plaques Coming in 2026 Designed by a team of Hollin Hills architects and chaired by Jeff Vandersall, these distinctive plaques celebrate both modern design and local history. Launch party and ordering details will be announced soon. Love Our Parks: Annual Fundraiser This November, keep an eye out for colorful yard signs showing what makes our parks, and your support, so important. Join Us This Fall Drinks With Friends Fundraiser: A Mid-Century Cocktail Party Saturday, November 15 | 7-10 PM | Location TBA Join us for an evening of costumes, cocktails, and community at an iconic Hollin Hills home. Proceeds go to preservation of the unique character of Hollin Hills through education events, community building activities and support parkland stewardship. Space is limited to 50 people. First come first served. Don't miss out! COUNT ME IN Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Thursday, November 27 at Voigt Park Kids Fun Run: 9:00 AM | 5K: 9:30 AM Prizes, cider, donuts, and a great way to start your holiday. Suggested donation: $10/person. Proceeds support park improvements. JOIN THE FESTIVITIES Stay In the Know October Is National Book Month Take time to explore one of our little libraries, read to a child, or support a local library.
