A professional landscape architect, she is licensed in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland and has over 17 years of experience. Mila is intrigued by nature, its beauty, and its irregular perfection. Ms. Antova is interested in harnessing nature’s power to create resilient landscapes that evoke curiosity and promote meaningful human interaction. She strives to create immersive and inclusive landscapes through community engagement and site understanding.
In 2020 Mila volunteered with Green Schoolyards America where she was a part of a research team that collected data on the health benefits of outdoor learning. This research was used as a tool to help schools reopen safely during COVID-19 and beyond. Under the same program, Mila volunteered as an emergency designer to develop concepts for the Kenmore Middle School outdoor learning areas. |
