Julia joined McInturff Architects at its founding in 1986 and remained part of the firm until 2018, serving as a principal from 2003. With a BA in Photography and Cinema from the Ohio State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland, in addition to her architectural roles, Julia directed the firm’s interior design projects, provided primary photography and managed media relations. She continues to work as a consultant to the firm and as a design consultant and architectural photographer. Julia has lived in Hammond Wood, a Goodman community in Silver Spring, MD, since 2008.
