An integral part of the Hollin Hills Historic District is the thirty acres of park land owned and managed by the Civic Association of Hollin Hills (CAHH). Our parks provide a natural respite from the hustle and bustle of DC and Alexandria, and have provided crucial outdoor space during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maintenance of our CAHH park land is entirely dependent on CAHH member dues, revenue from the community’s bi-annual Hollin Hills House + Garden Tour, and donations to CAHH or to Friends of Hollin Hills. Contributions to Friends of Hollin Hills designated for Parks will fund projects beyond basic annual maintenance, such such updating or repairing park structures, invasive plant removal, erosion remediation, and native plant installation.
