Christina Curley lives on Range Rd with her husband Tom and simply loves living in Hollin Hills! As a former Northern urbanite who had to go to Forest Preserves to visit trees, she is keenly aware of the specialness of being able to immerse oneself in nature everyday through our floor-to-ceiling windows, unique outdoor living spaces, and immediate access to over 30 acres of community parks.
Retired now from a career in Federal Service, Christina makes an annual strategic plan for herself. This year is focused on restoring natural habitat within Virginia. She is completing the Fairfax Master Naturalist program and leveraging her new skills by leading habitat restoration in Hollin Hills’ Sutton Potter Park as a Park Steward. She is a certified Fairfax County Tree Rescuer and pursuing becoming an Invasive Management Area Supervisor within the County. Additionally, Christina and Tom are midway through installing an all native garden as part of the Home Grown National Park initiative. She welcomes you to stop by. She will be happy to discuss native plants, her two sassy granddaughters, her volunteer work teaching the arts to local seniors, or her and Tom’s next 100 mile hike in Scotland. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community as a member of FOHH. |
